Saw this great article on cnet about how the new G5 Macs don't run Windows software as well as some of the older Macs. I guess the way you could look at this is now Mac uses can do nothing real fast...

I needed to rip some CDs so I could have them with me at work and I discovered that Windows Media Player will not rip to MP3 by default you have to spend $$ to get a plug-in for it. Quite some time ago a friend had turned me on to a free application to do this it is called CDex. Well to make a short sorry long I looked for it again and found it was a lot more the I know about take a look at it's home page CDex Home Page it's good quick to get running and free!

ok so I am not the best blogger in the world. I am in a new mode of blogging! I am up in Redmond for a look at ASP.NET so I am not able to talk much about what I am doing at work so this blogg is going to go more in the personal realm. So fair warning this is not about code any more.

Tonight I got asked how to add graphic resources in to a .NET assembly. The best application I have used is Resourcer for .NET from Lutz Roeder web site he has a page that has a bunch of tool for .NET (Tools and source codes for .NET, C# and Visual Basic).

The official National Do Not Call Registry website is up and running. I just checked site and the number I registered with the California list was not registered yet so I added my number my self.

Microsoft has released it's new OS for Pocket PCs it looks to be a good step up in performance and as soon HP gets with the program and offers a upgrade I will get this for my PPC and play with it until then I am going to play with the SDK and see what it can do.
