I know that security can be a dry topic but of late I have been having some interesting reads on the .NET Security blog. Some gems in there include Detecting that You're Running in a ClickOnce Application and Isolated Storage and ClickOnce.

Have fun and make security a priority to avoid issues tomorrow!

A long time ago I saw the funniest video ever! It was a commercial for a pager that showed a chick (whoops politically correct) woman fart in a car where she thought she was alone but alas she was not…

this video comes darn close to taking that one over!

Mix_button There has been more sessions published for the MIX event, it is shaping up to be quiet interesting. I hope i get to go as i would live to see Tim O'Reilly and Jeff Barr from Amazon (and he has a good job title). I want to see all the AJAX and Atlas sessions as well. Let me know if you are from SoCal and plan on going.

I recently did a one day talk on the topic of what’s new in Visual Studio 2005 covering .NET framework, ADO.NET and Winform changes. I did not cover ASP.NET as that was getting covered the next day for the same audience. I have gotten some requests for the slide deck I used so I wanted to post it where anyone could get it. This is not the exact deck I used as that deck was in a VPC that I did not save but this is close.

Are you interested in what Microsoft is doing next with it’s web tools and platform? Better yet do you want to have input to what it dose? Then come to a new conference that is happening on March 20-22, 2006 At The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, Las Vegas, NV.
There is quit a bit of buzz around Mix and the looks quite interesting content.

Let me know if you are going!
